The Double Lanes Cell Transmission Model of Mixed Traffic Flow in Urban Intelligent Network
نویسندگان
چکیده
The connected and autonomous vehicle (CAV) is promised to ease congestion in the future with rapid development of related technologies recent years. To explore characteristics mixed-traffic flow dynamic transmission mechanism, this paper firstly detailed car-following model different types, establishing fundamental diagram through considering penetration rates fleet size CAV. Secondly, constructed lane-changing judgment mechanism based on random utility theory. Finally, proposed a lane-level cell process, combined strategy model. effectiveness feasibility are verified using simulation analysis. This makes systematic, theoretical analysis from perspective internal operation traffic flow, provides basis for balancing urban lane distribution intelligent management control.

Motorcycles are one of the main transportation modes in some Asian countries because of their advantages, such as better mobility and lower costs, as compared to automobiles. Most of the current designs of roads, such as speed limit and lane markings, are based on automobile traffic and not entirely suitable for motorcycles. Therefore, there is a need to further investigate the traffic characte...
متن کاملUrban Traffic Jam Simulation Based on the Cell Transmission Model
There have been different approaches which have been proposed to understand the mechanism of traffic congestion propagation. In this paper, we use the cell transmission model and apply it to simulate the formation and dissipation of traffic jams at the microscopic level. In particular, our model focuses on jam propagation and dissipation in two-way rectangular grid networks. In the model, the d...
متن کاملA network traffic flow model for motorway and urban highways
The research reported in this paper develops a network level traffic flow model (NTFM) which is applicable for both motorway and urban roads. It forecasts the traffic flow rates, queue propagation at the junctions and travel delays through the network. NTFM uses sub-models associated with all road and junction types which comprise the highway. The flow at any one part of the network is obviousl...
